Monika's Passions: Art and 7th Art

Wanting to encourage young film makers was one of the reasons that she established AMBI Pictures, together with her love of "The Seventh Art". In order to establish partnerships with regards to the arts in Monaco, Monika Bacardi ( participates in the Monaco Project for the Arts, an organisation that supports the University of Plastic Arts. l'Opera de Monte Carlo has been assisted by Amis de l'Opera (an organisation that Monika Bacardi fervently supports) for over thirty years. AMBI Pictures aims to make commercially viable films for a worldwide audience, helping to encourage the art form globally.

Monika Bacardi works to create funding for, produce and deliver motion pictures to an international market in her role as co-founder and producer of the AMBI Group. The acclaimed 'PHOTO' magazine (which has been running since the sixties) was acquired by her a few years back. Monika Bacardi aims to generate services around her 'PHOTO' brand for photographers and artists, offering professional management as well as establishing connections with international purchasers.

Monika's Personal Life

Monika Bacardi married the Lord of Bayfield Hall (Lord Luis Bacardi - a relative of the founder of the Bacardi Company) and they raised a daughter together. In so many areas of her life, Lady Bacardi likes to share her deep sensitivity to social and ecological concerns. Supporting the causes and charitable organisations which are to her liking fills a lot of Monika Bacardi's leisure time.

The AMBI group, a cinematographic business based in Europe, was set up by her in 2013 due to her love of film. Her main pastimes are art and philanthropy, which resulted in her studying literature and arts in Italy, the country she is originally from. Caring for other people is something Monika Bacardi really loves to do, so it is hardly a surprise that she is associated with many charitable causes and non-profit organisations. "The Lady of Bayfield Hall" is a moniker that Monika Bacardi inherited, after becoming a member of the Bacardi family.
